From the recently published Minutes of the on-line meeting of 12-13 December 2024 of the Group of Coordinators for the recognition of professional qualifications (GoC), it appears that :
PURPOSE
-The purpose of the report will be « to assess all relevant aspects of the updated Directive », including « the effectiveness and efficiency of the Directive ».
-The report will also aim to « identify gaps, issues or challenges in the implementation of the Directive » (i.a. on updating of Annex V, on implementation of the Alert Mechanism) and « to prepare the ground for future policy initiatives ».
CALENDAR
The Commission aims to have the first version of the draft report approximately in April 2025 and aims for publication approximately in June 2025.
